The hours of work and shift patterns are: Monday - Friday 09:00 – 17:00
The rate of pay is: £14.25
Main Responsibility
- Support and deliver company induction sessions.
- Provide certifications (Food Safety, Health & Safety) and translations when required.
- Ensure paperwork is correctly filled out and signed, then update and store training records.
- Maintain and audit the Training Matrix to identify and resolve training gaps.
- Collaborate with the Training Manager to ensure all documentation is up to date and complete.
- Report weekly training figures and ensure all records are accessible for audits.
- Create and deliver SOP training for key topics (Food Safety, HACCP, Allergen Management, H&S, etc.).
- Ensure employees are fully signed off on all required documentation and are compliant with company standards.
- Track and report on the delivery of compliance training.
- Work closely with Trainers, HR, FLMs (First Line Managers), and the Training Manager to coordinate and support training efforts across all teams.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of training materials, ensuring high-quality delivery standards.
- Develop and deliver training on SOPs to ensure all employees are fully compliant with updated procedures.
- Communicate changes to SOPs and provide training to relevant employees.
- Provide support to HR and other teams when necessary.
- Assist with other reasonable management requests, including training in production environments.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a training or SOP authoring role, preferably in a manufacturing, food safety, or similar industry.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements (Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain and update training records.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to deliver training to employees at all levels.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of SOPs and how to create and implement them.
- Experience with training management systems and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented and thorough in ensuring compliance.
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A team player who is committed to supporting colleagues and achieving collective goals.
