Job Introduction
Reporting into the QA Manager, the successful candidates will assist in the production of safe food, which meets customer requirements by ensuring the effective operations of agreed procedures through regular auditing.
Main Responsibility
- Engage proactively with the Production Department so as to ensure that all finished products are manufactured to the specified customer standards. Key interaction is primarily with Production but interaction with other departments.
- Calibration of equipment, auditing production, traceability and GMP
- Microbiological and chemical, gluten sampling as per schedule
- Ensure all quality records are completed fully completed.
- HACCP training and monitoring
- Implementation of corrective actions arising from audits, complaint investigations, micro etc
- Support the process team on new development and launches and investigation.
- Support the delivery of Technical KPIs
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of the food industry
- Internal Audit experience
- Understanding of HACCP
- Ability to manage workload of self.
- Dynamic, motivated individual with a desire to drive improvement.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good standard of computer skills
