Job Introduction
We have a number of opportunities available in our factory in Willand, Devon, which has been continually processing for over 100 years.
The working hours for the Trussing Operative position are:
- AM - 05:00am - 15:15pm
- PM - 15:30pm - 00:00am
The shift pattern is based on a 3 weekly Rota.
- Week 1 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
- Week 2 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
- Week 3 (Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday)
The rate of pay is £12.56 per hour.
Main Responsibility
Joining our team as a Trussing Operative, your role will involve:
- Trussing wholebirds to the required speed
- Lining baskets
- Helping with the other lines in the Production area
- Working to the high standards required for our customers
- Working to high standards in Food Safety and Health and Safety
- Working with a multi-cultural team of enthusiastic employees.
The Ideal Candidate
No experience will be required just come with a "Can do" attitude. We will provide full training in Food Safety, Quality, Health and Safety, how to be a Trussing Operative and we'll teach you the differences in customer requirements.

The Willand site is part of the UK Poultry division in 2 Sisters Food Group.
Willand has around 1000 employees and has been open and processing for over 100 years.
