Security Officer

Job Introduction

We currently have permanent opportunities for our Security Officer to join our Security teams in Willand, Devon.

• This post is working Days, 
• The hours of work are 06:30am - 18:30pm and the shift pattern: 4 days on 4 days off 
• The rate of pay is £12.56 per hour 

Main Responsibility

Your main responsibilities for an Security Officer include:

• Responsible for patrolling the premises
• Responding to fire alarms
• Allowing access to the premises if applicable
• Investigating any suspicious activity
• Monitoring access control system 
• Writing reports on daily activities and irregularities 
• Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment

The Ideal Candidate

As an Security Officer, you will have a passion for delivering high standards within your job role. You will be prepared to learn and work well in a busy, fast paced environment. 

• You will need a good level of English both written and spoken 
• 1 year of security experience 
• SIA license

About the Company

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to consumers via major retailers. Our colleagues work across ten primary sites across the UK, where chickens are transported from nearby farms for processing and at our cutting sites prepared for portioning, deboning, and filleting. UK Poultry predominantly produces private-label products for major retailers. We know our proficiency is in processing, so we work with experts in other fields such as: hatching, farming, animal husbandry and transport to ensure that our supply chain is as effective and efficient
