Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for Recruitment Officer to join our team in Willand, Devon.

This role is based in the office at our site in Willand, Devon and you will be working Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm).

Main Responsibility

As Recruitment Officer you will be part of our HR team based on site here at Willand. This is a busy role where you will be processing all applications for our hourly paid employees.

Duties include: 

- Ensuring all candidates within the ATS are processed in a timely manner

- Conducting telephone prescreens with candidates and arranging on-site interviews

- Working closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements 

- Processing all right to work checks for new starters 

- Building relationships with external stakeholders and the community to help promote our job vacancies 

- Attend job fairs and proactively arrange similar marketing activity 

There is also an opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in HR. 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role whether that is 'in house' or within agency recruitment. 

Other suitable skills and experience include: 

- Demonstrable experience of high volume recruitment 

- Excellent communication skills and comfortable speaking with candidates from different backgrounds 

- Confident balancing a variety of tasks and working flexibly depending on the needs of the business

- Experience conducting interviews 

- Experience and good knowledge of right to work checks

About the Company

The Willand factory has been part of Devon’s food manufacturing heritage since 1898 where it started life as an egg processing facility. Steeped in history this site is located on Lloyd Maunder road, which is easily accessed by the M5 or local bus routes. Willand has been part of 2 Sisters since 2008.
