We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Quality System Monitor to join our technical team in Willand, Devon.

  • This post is working Days 
  • The hours of work 05:30am till 14:30pm (Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri) 05:30am till 13:30 (Tues) 
  • The rate of pay is: £12.56 ph

Main Responsibility

As a Quality System Monitor in our technical department your key responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems across the factory to ensure continuous operational and technical integrity.

  • Identify and report any areas of non-conformity, ensuring affected food products are quarantined appropriately and only released once compliance is confirmed.

  • Conduct label and traceability verification checks to ensure accuracy and full product compliance with legal and customer standards.

  • Monitor and record product temperatures as part of routine quality assurance procedures.

  • Verify scales and weights to maintain consistency with both regulatory standards and customer specifications.

  • Perform regular metal detection verification to uphold product safety and prevent contamination.

  • Carry out quality control checks to ensure finished products meet both customer requirements and internal quality benchmarks.

  • Provide support for additional verification and compliance activities across all stages of production and packaging, as required.

The Ideal Candidate

As our ideal candidates you'll demonstrate that you have:

  • Attention to detail 
  • Recording and monitoring skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills


Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable.
