We are currently looking for a QA Manager - Nights
This is a Monday to Friday role and the working hours can be either 6pm - 2am OR 10pm to 6am.
Salary £40,617 pa + Benefits package.
Main Responsibility
- To effectively uphold the food safety, legal, and quality standards of 2SFG, our customers, regulatory bodies and all other interested stakeholders.
- The completion of routine and non-routine assessments in the factory environment to ensure compliance to all codes of practice
- To coach, train, advise and support the factory operations teams on matters of non-conformance and deviation to specification
- To act as the site Subject Matter Expert on all key technical disciplines
- To efficiently manage Quality Auditors to ensure daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed on time and in full.
- To be the ‘go to’ factory based Technical colleague for all queries/issues raised by production or issues unable to be sorted by Quality Auditors on shift
The Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrable experience in a food manufacturing quality role including team management
- Good understanding of microbiology, bacteria and pathogen control
- Excellent communication skills
