We’re looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join the team at Scunthorpe.

  • Permanent
  • Monday - Friday, 0600-1430/1430-2300
  • Hourly rate £12.70
  • Based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

Main Responsibility

Reporting to the Shift QA Manager you’ll play a vital role in building and maintaining our brand reputation as the leading poultry processor.  Based within the Food Safety & Quality team you’ll work closely with our high performing colleagues to ensure that our products are of the highest standards.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:       

  • Using your eye for detail to check, monitor and record activities and process controls to ensure that products meet specification.                                           
  • Ensuring compliance with legal & customer requirements and company policies, communicating any non-conformances effectively and instigating corrective action.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in the role you’ll have an awareness of manufacturing processes, food safety, hygiene and quality together with the ability to carry out basic data entry and simple mathematics and show some resilience to our fast-paced environment.

You’ll need to work on your own initiative, so you’ll be proactive and self-motivated.

You’ll have excellent attention to detail and a good standard of spoken & written English to read and effectively communicate written instructions, as well as the ability to engage with people at all levels.
