- The hours of work and shift patterns are: 08.00 - 16.00 OR 09.00 - 17.00
- The rate of pay is: £14.61 per hour moving to £15.77 when fully trained.
Main Responsibility
- Collaborate with NPD, Process, and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation and equipment setup for product trials and launches.
- Develop and maintain product specifications, including ingredients, mini specs, QAS standards, visual guidelines, and quality contracts. Ensure updates are accurately reflected following agreed changes.
- Artwork checking and approval. Maintaining packaging library.
- Programming and maintenance of Factory equipment to ensure correct product data is set e.g. ACS programs are correct, Bartender / FOPs label set-up, check-weigh set up
- To issue and maintain accurate and timely packing data (Price List).
- Export traceability management – Manage export documentation requests, verify accuracy, and ensure traceability data is correctly uploaded to the export portal.
- KPI reporting
- To carry out projects/investigations as required.
- Provide occasional phone support outside standard working hours as needed.
- Provide coverage for Product Technologist duties during holidays and absences to ensure continuity of operations.
The Ideal Candidate
- Use of Excel and Power point at intermediate level
- Knowledge of Site product portfolio and manufacturing processes
- Understanding of relevant Food law and food technology
- SAP competent
- Written and spoken English to a level sufficient to communicate effectively with all staff levels at Site and visitors.
