Job Introduction
The Planning Administrator (Nights) is a vital part of the planning function, providing consistent overnight administrative support to maintain data accuracy, visibility, and continuity across the planning function. Working a 4-on-4-off night shift pattern, the role ensures that key planning systems, trackers, and reports are updated in through the night, enabling a smooth transition into the daytime operation.
This role supports the planning team by managing routine administrative tasks, checking and amending key planning data, and flagging any issues to ensure strong handovers and minimal disruption to the AM team when they walk in at 0600. The Planning Administrator plays an essential role in enabling the wider team to focus on decision-making and operational responsiveness throughout the day.

Main Responsibility
- Maintain and update Supply Chain and Planning trackers and dashboards to ensure real-time visibility of key planning data.
- Check, analyze, and transfer forecast and customer order data into the appropriate trackers, sheets, and dashboards with a high level of accuracy.
- Carry out detailed ingredients and packaging usage analysis to identify risks, surpluses, and potential supply issues.
- Conduct Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis to ensure planned requirements align with the actual production schedule.
- Monitor evening and overnight meat deliveries, supporting adjustments and amendments to meat purchase orders (POs) where necessary.
- Maintain accurate stock records for all customers using SOPs, ensuring data integrity across all systems and trackers.
- Ensure a clear, structured, and comprehensive handover is prepared and communicated to the Planning Coordinators and Managers at 06:00 to support a smooth transition into the day shift. Work in close partnership with operations & technical, and to ensure planning of production is adequate and adheres to the priorities set.
