Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby. This site is currently turning over £35 Million, with a headcount of around 250 which can flex during peak periods. We can proudly state that we are the sole supplier of fresh chilled Soups and Pasta Sauces for M&S, for those in the know, the highest standard of food production. As our Hygiene Operative, you will play an important role for 2 Sisters Grimsby. You will work within the Hygiene Department and be responsible for ensuring that all machines and the building meet strict high standards of hygiene at all times.
Main Responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
A role like this will vary and will require you to work across the factory, facilities and laundry – however the following are likely to be included.
Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet high standards.
Deep cleaning of production areas
Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly.
Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed.
Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health and Safety and Hygiene
The ability to work effectively under pressure of time.
Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the Hygiene Supervisor/Manager
Trained in COSHH and experience of cleaning with chemical (Training will be given)
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge Skills & Experience:
Ideally you will have some experience of working as a Hygiene Operative however not essential as full training will be given. The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative. Your communication skills will also need to be good in order both to understand the cleaning requirements and also to report any issues as they arise in a clear manner.
