Job Introduction
Here at 2 Sisters we are looking for an Effluent Operator to work within our Engineering Department.
The rate of pay as an Effluent Operator is £15.82
The shift pattern work on rotating hours.
Monday - Friday alternate hours 06:00am - 14:00pm & 14:00pm - 22:00pm
You will require to work every third weekend 06:00am - 12:00pm and an evening call out.
Main Responsibility
The main responsibilities as an Effluent Operator include the following:
- Ensure that the Effluent plant is always in compliance with Environment Agency discharge consents.
- Ensure that an breaches of consents are immediately reported to management.
- Day to day running of the effluent plant
- Daily testing of effluent discharge
- To maintain accurate records of test results
- Emptying interceptor pits
- To clear blocked drains in the factory
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate we are looking for to join in the Effluent plant
Is someone that is :
- Self motivated
- Flexible and Systematic approach to work
- Good understanding in both written and spoken English
- Good communication skills
- Clean full UK Driving License

About the Company
The Willand site is part of the UK Poultry division in 2 Sisters Food Group.
